About this event

  • 8 hours

In the tradition of converting garments to make the old new again and the practice of mend-and-make-do, learn to make a piece inspired by the cult classic MATERIALBYPRODUCT Makeover Tee with fashion designer and Creative Director of MATERIALBYPRODUCT, Susan Dimasi.

In this full-day workshop, you will upcycle an unflattering tee shirt and give it a designer makeover.

Susan will teach you the techniques she uses in the workroom. You will learn to measure, mark and cut without using a pattern piece and hand-stitch using one of Susan’s signature stitches.

Throughout this hands-on workshop, you will have access to Susan’s experience and knowledge on any topic; from starting your own business to finding your personal style. So, take the opportunity to ask questions and learn from an Australian fashion industry expert!

At the end of the day, you will have your own custom made, designer piece to add to your wardrobe.
