Feel like you’re dealing with your flock around the clock? Maybe it’s time to get yourself a better deal.

The 2018 sheep research open day will showcase the latest technology, emerging research and management techniques for sheep. You’ll see practical information and solutions put into action, helping you get more out of your sheep enterprise in less time and with less stress.

 

See interactive displays such as the new the Dual Energy Xray Absorptiometry (DEXA) machine in use and try your hand at DNA sampling.

 Meat science & supply

  • Panel session on long term contracts including questions from the floor (Peter Trefort, Graham Lean, Agrivet Business Consulting & a sheep producer). 
  • Muscling out the competition! Optimising Lean Meat Yield in your lambs. (Steve Connaughton and Rachel O’Reilly, Murdoch University)
