Farm & Arabian Horse Tour - Central Coast NSW
A fun, family and disability-friendly interactive farm and Arabian horse stud tour in Wyong Creek, NSW.
Welcome to Yarramalong Valley Horse Farmstay. We have been breeding Arabian horses for over 50 years under the name Forest Hill Arabian Stud. We are a mother and son, small local business. We offer farmstay accomodation and farm tours.
We have over 850 - five star reviews on Airbnb.
We are also a proud winner at the 2025 NSW Business Tourism Awards. We won "Outstanding Unique Accomodation Experience" and were runner-up in "Outstanding Family Holiday Destination".
All farm tour monies go directly back into feeding and supporting all the beautiful animals on the farm.
On the farm tour we will take you around the farm to see and interact with all of our loveable animals: 40 majestic purebred Arabian Horses, our family of lop eared rabbits, cheeky silkie chickens, adventurous miniature goats, gorgeous miniature horses, guinea pigs an alpaca, and some naughty sheep.
You'll also take a ride around the 55 acre farm in our either a mini jeep or quad bike and a short walk through our private forest with picturesque views, river frontage and fern gullies home to a variety of wildlife. The kids will get to see where the wombats & foxes sleep & if lucky spot a platypus in the river or an echidna. We also try to teach the children about our native plants. As you walk around the farm you will take in beautiful scenery and a wide array of native birds which take up residence in our beautiful trees around the farm. Think kookaburras, kingfishers, galahs, black cockatoos, rosellas and so much more.
Lots of photo opportunities!
During the 2 hour farm animal experience tours participants will be moving around on the farm, so come prepared with hats, sunscreen, bug spray (if needed), closed in shoes and enough drinking water & snacks for the little ones. Sunglasses are also helpful on the farm especially for the kids as things can get dusty feeding the horses if it is a windy day. We also recommend you bring a few bags of carrots if you would like to walk around the farm and feed some horses after the tour. Also if you have any fresh food scraps or peels from the few days before your tour date we would love for you to bring them. I’m sure the animals will appreciate it!
If you are looking to escape from city life or get back to nature for a few hours and escape those work stresses, come visit us and experience the tranquility of country living.
We are located in Wyong Creek on the Central Coast, NSW. We are only a 40 minute drive from Wahroonga (Sydney) and are only 5 minutes off the M1 and 5 minutes from the nearest train stations (Wyong or Tuggerah). We are also 5 minutes from Tuggerah Westfield & 25 minutes from beautiful beaches.

Please contact us for more details. ( Just copy & paste the above url into a webpage & the Airbnb will load. Not sure why the link would not work when I copied it on to this page ).
We also host weddings, events & parties for all ages (not just kids!).
The farm tour is all ages and abilities. We are an inclusive and welcoming space and will modify the tour as needed to suit all. I have had everyone from toddlers to people in their 90's attend the tour.
We do not have a minimum number for booking but we do appreciate that if there are only a few of you that you do your best to invite another family or some friends to also join you on the tour to help us fill the booking. If that is not possible of course it is still fine to book. If possible though it helps us tremendously as we put a lot of time into all the kids to ensure they all have a wonderful experience. It is very expensive running a farm with all these animals. We have a lot of mouths to feed and farm input costs are rising each day. The farm tour fee helps go towards the petrol expenses, service costs of the vehicles, insurance costs of running tours & food costs for the animals plus the time we spend with everyone. So by booking you are not only in for a memorable day out but you are helping a small farm try and make ends meet. I also find the kids have even more fun when they also get to experience the animals with their friends.
DIRECTIONS for TOUR:
Firstly please put into maps 267 Yarramalong Road. We are called Yarramalong Valley HORSE Farmstay. There is another farm further in the valley with an almost identical name that do weddings so just enter the address manually so you don't get lost!
The gate on the farm is closed but it is not locked. Just come in 267 Yarramalong Road driveway, open and close gate and drive down the hill towards the barns. You will notice a concrete turning circle with a tree in the middle. Just park to the left of that on the gravel (not on the grass please) & we will meet at the turning circle at the time of the tour. Any questions just message me. Thanks! Michael 🙂

If you would like to do a tour on a certain day especially mid week and it is unavailable text 0407766391 and I will see what I can do. I can arrange private tours for people as well. I may have the date blocked off for other reasons. I run the farm on my own so I often have it blocked off mid week so I can get other work done but I am always happy to try to accomodate people if they can only come mid week or if ticket sales closed before they were able to book. I usually only allow tickets to be bought 24 hours prior to the event so I have some notice so text me directly if you want to do it on a certain date and it is unavailable.
