Fantastical Felt Exhibition - Philippa Coulson
This exhibition features nine watercolour paintings celebrating heritage buildings across the Charles Sturt community.
Philippa Coulson is a fibre artist and community arts workshop facilitator who’s been working with fibre for as long as she can remember! From crochet and knitting, to feltwork, her practice has grown to include everything from tiny needle‑felted pocket pets to bold, wearable art.
In February the studio at Ngutungka West Lakes will come alive with colour as Philippa joins us as Artist in Residence, showcasing a mix of her work including tea cosies, vibrant shawls and needle painting—so pop in, say hello, and see what she’s creating.
Philippa will also run two welcoming community workshops, where beginners can try needle painting or make a felted brooch. You’ll leave with something beautiful and enjoy a relaxed, creative time connecting with others.
Please go to Ngutngka West Lakes Eventbrite to book your ticket to attend a workshop with the artist.
