About this Event
Resilient kids aren't afraid to try new activities and have a go.
Morning: My Fantastical Strengths and How To Find Them (kids clay workshop) Does your child need some support with self-esteem at the moment? Can they tell you what they're good at? Children who know their strengths are resilient and don’t give up when they come up against life’s challenges. In this fun and engaging workshop, children will make a FANTASTIC CREATION using clay that celebrates their own individual talents and the strengths that make them unique. Art techniques: Clay and drawing.
Afternoon: Mini Mistake-Maker
Is your child a perfectionist? Do they try and hide mistakes or just struggle with how to deal with them? In this workshop children will explore what a "mistake make" looks like. In this workshop kids will learn some skills to help them learn to rock their mistakes, support their self-esteem and develop resilience in a fun environment. They will create an abstract self-portrait that will remind them of the key messages long after the paint dries.
Art techniques: Painting and collage.
Paint smocks are provided but we encourage you to send your children in clothes that don't mind a bit of mess.
Bring a healthy snack, nut free lunch and water bottle
