Make an appointment to see Sue, our family history volunteer. Appointments are one-to-one for one hour. Some of the things Sue can help you with:

• Finding resources for your research anywhere in the world
• Using Libraries Tasmania family history resources
• Using newspaper archives to build a picture of your ancestors/ lives
• Learning how to use online sources including Ancestry, the Tasmanian Names Index, FamilySearch and National Archives of Australia

As this program is currently modified to meet public gathering restrictions, we have limited spaces available.

We ask that you please register here, or call your local library if you need help making a booking. If you are no longer able to make an event, please let us know so that others don’t miss out.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Short-term parking is provided behind Rosny Library, or in nearby car parks. Buses are available from Rosny which is a 2 minute walk from Rosny Library.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You don't need to bring your printed ticket to the event but you must register (either online through Eventbrite or through Rosny Library)
