Overview

Come to Rosny Library to explore your family history with our volunteer Sue.

Rosny Library welcomes Sue each week to support our Family History Program. Sue is a Family History expert with over 40 years' experience as a Family History researcher, family tree developer and blogger.

Sue runs individual sessions on most Fridays at the library. She can assist you with all aspects of Family History research and building your family tree. She also offers specialist group sessions on the last Friday of each month.

Please bring your own laptop and USB. There will be a few library laptops available if you don't have one of your own.

To help make a successful event:

  • Don't come if you're unwell
  • Let us know if you can't come - we'll cancel your booking so others can register instead.
  • By registering for a Libraries Tasmania event, you agree to follow our policies – including the Responsible Conduct Policy and Safeguarding Children Policy. Thank you for helping keep our spaces safe and respectful for everyone.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Short-term parking is provided behind Rosny Library (access through CR Benard Drive), or in nearby car parks. Buses are available to and from Rosny bus mall which is a 2-minute walk from Rosny Library.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Please contact us on 6165 6448 or rosny.library@education.tas.gov.au if you have any questions. You can also drop in during opening hours.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You don't need to bring your printed ticket to the event but you must register (either online through Eventbrite or through Rosny Library)
