Come explore your family history at Huonville Library, and get dedicated help from our knowledgeable staff.

Beginner and experienced family historians are invited to come along to Huonville Library's family history group.

We can help you start your family history research, or provide support for ongoing research. Each session will include tips and tricks for accessing records through the National Archives of Australian, Ancestry, and the Tasmanian Names Index.

Please bring your own laptop and USB.


Parking:

• Maximum 2 hour stay at the library

• All day parking in Council carpark, short walk from the library

To ensure a successful event, please:

• Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else

• Don't attend if you are unwell

• Follow hygiene practices eg. hand sanitising

• Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you.

Accessibility:

• 1 permit mobility parking spaces next to the library - 2 hour parking limit

• Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs

• Accessible toilet with a change table for children.
