The WA Made Film Festival’s Family Flicks Short Film Showcase is a fun, heartfelt collection of stories for all ages.

From imaginative adventures and gentle scares to tales of friendship, family and growing up, these shorts celebrate curiosity, creativity and big feelings through young eyes. With stories about books, monsters, music, the ocean and lifelong friendships, Family Flicks is a warm, entertaining showcase that invites families to laugh, reflect and experience the magic of local storytelling together.

A young girl struggling with her parents’ arguing finds refuge in the pages of her books.

  • Infectious

In a world where a zombie apocalypse has broken out, a group of kids have been confined to a house as their safe zone. But what happens when one of them becomes infected and poses a threat to their survival?

When every adult is shrunk, the kids need to run the world. And someone stole Leila’s doughnut!

  • Beneath the Surface

With a big dream of becoming a marine biologist one day, Lincoln created Beneath the Surface to share his passion for the ocean and inspire others to care for it too.
