Course Overview:
The aim of this module is to provide participants with knowledge of disaster recovery.
Module 1 – Introduction to Recovery
Course Objectives:
On completion of this module, participants should have knowledge of:
- The principles of recovery
- The five functions of recovery
- The State, district, and local arrangements for recovery.
Prerequisites:
- Queensland Disaster management Arrangements (QDMA)
- Only applicable to government and those with designated roles in DM.
Course Duration:
Module 2 – Working in Recovery
Course Overview
The aim of this module is to provide participants with the knowledge and understanding to undertake recovery preparedness, planning and operations.
Course Objectives:
On completion of the course, participants should have knowledge of:
- Recovery planning
- The levels of activation for recovery
- The phases of recovery operations.
Prerequisites:
- Queensland Disaster management Arrangements (QDMA)
- Recovery Module 1 – Introduction to Recovery
- Only applicable to government and those with designated roles in DM.
