Learn the basics of Arduino and start building interactive electronic projects!

Join us for the Intro to Making Module: Arduino Electronics, where you’ll get hands-on experience with Arduino microcontrollers and electronics. Over two engaging Tuesday evening sessions, you’ll learn how to program and wire up circuits to create interactive projects. Whether you’re interested in automation, robotics, or creative tech, this workshop will give you a strong foundation to start making with Arduino.


Timing

This course will take place over two weeks.

Part 1: Tuesday 17 March 5.30pm-7.30pm

Part 2: Tuesday 24 March 5.30pm-7.30pm


Who is this for?

This program is perfect for beginners, hobbyists, makers, and anyone curious about electronics and coding. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to experiment and learn!

We recommend this course for ages 14 and over.


What will participants get out of it?

  • An introduction to Arduino and how it works
  • Hands-on experience wiring and programming simple circuits
  • Practical knowledge of sensors, LEDs and other components
  • A foundational understanding of coding with Arduino (C/C++)
  • The confidence to continue exploring and creating with Arduino

Note: The Arduino starter kit used for this course is not included in the cost, however participants may purchase a kit from the Fab Lab if they would like to take one home.
