Extended Barista & Employment Training for 17 to 24 year olds

Get ready to kickstart your career in hospitality with our specialised training program designed for young adults aged 17-24!

Training Includes: Hygienic Food handling, Barista Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Presentations Skills, Resume Writing, Cover Letter Writing, Communication, and much more.

Young people 17-24 years of age are welcome apply to the course.

Students need to attend on all 10 sessions at AYC.

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community College will be presenting and facilitating with funding from the NSW Governement.

Day 3 Mon 17th Nov11am-4pm - Basic Coffee Menu - Customer Service

Day 4 Thur 20th Nov 11am-4pm - Texturing of Milk - Time Management in Service

Day 5 Thur 27th Nov 11am-4pm - Perfecting the Pour - Documentation

Day 6 Mon1st Dec 11am-4pm - Cafe Experience - Presentation Skills - Resume Writing

Day 7 Thur 4th Dec 11am-4pm - Cafe Experience - Customer senarios - Cover letters

Day 8 Mon 8th Dec 11am-4pm - Cafe Experience - Empoyment Agencies Introduction -

Day 9 Thur11th Dec11am-4pm - Cafe Experience - Interview Practice

Day 10 Mon 15th Dec 11am-4pm - Cafe Experience - Graduation
