Introduction to singing & painting.
A fun and no-pressure exploration of creative expression and it's capacity to sooth & connect us.
If you've ever been told you "can't sing" or "can't paint"- this workshop is for you. Maybe the person telling you this is you!
To start the afternoon Fiona will lead us in an introductory Singing Circle. We'll get familiar with using our breath & voice - our own unique instrtument! Then we'll move onto learning some simple songs & harmonies. (taught by ear - no sheet music). No stress, no solos, no pressure - just enjoy the Feel Good mood boost that comes from letting our voices flow freely.
After a short break, we'll move onto painting - where Julie will guide you through creating your own painting on canvas, inspired by Van Gogh's Sunflowers. We invite you to leave perfectionism at the door and enjoy the process. There's no "right" or "wrong" in creative expression - just bucketloads of satisfaction in creating something uniquely your own.
There'll be time for refreshments (tea, coffee & nibbles & glassware provided).
BYO drinks are most welcome.
You'll come away with a painted canvas, a recharged confidence, and a big smile.
