Exploring the History of Breakfast Creek

Join us for a walk around the Breakfast Creek Rd precinct and discover the history behind this iconic area of Brisbane in this new history tour.

Setting out from Waterfront (Mirvac) Sales Office, we will venture into Wickham Grove, take in unusual vistas of Breakfast Creek, and hear about early industries (soap and candle making) and homes long gone. Journey up to the 4th floor of the Mercedes building to take in the views. Next there will be a stroll through the back blocks near the Albion Park Raceway to find the Chinese temple. We will take a closer look at the Breakfast Creek Hotel and the bridge, before enjoying a drink at the Breakfast Creek Hotel to finish.
