Exploring Empty Spaces: A Clay Bowl Workshop

Inspired by the 'Empty Spaces: Exploring Loss & Longing' exhibition, this workshop offers an opportunity to delve into the theme of absence and emptiness through the art of clay bowl-making with artist, Donna Gordge. Participants will learn various clay hand building techniques while creating their own unique clay bowl, which serves as a tangible representation of the emotional spaces within us.

This hands-on experience encourages self-expression and reflection as we explore how the concepts of loss and longing can shape our creativity. Join us for an introspective journey through art, where we'll transform emotions into beautiful, functional works of art. No prior experience is necessary, just an open mind and a willingness to engage with your emotions through the process of clay bowl-making. Reserve your spot today!

You will leave your bowl to dry and be fired after the workshop. You'll be notified when it can be collected at the beginning of July.

Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy, or bring an apron.
