Step beyond campus and explore the heart of Bendigo on a guided city tour designed especially for international students.

This immersive walking experience introduces you to Bendigo’s rich gold rush history, stunning heritage architecture and vibrant local culture. Along the way, you will uncover stories of transformation, resilience and community that shaped the city into what it is today.

A dedicated bus transfer will pick students up from campus at the Five Flagpoles outside the LSU Building and transport everyone to the tour starting point. At 3:30 PM, the bus will return you safely back to campus, so you do not need to organise anything yourself.

All you need to do is wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a bottle of water, and come ready to explore.

The tour offers more than historical insight. It is a chance to connect with fellow students, experience your regional campus city through a new lens, and feel more confident navigating your surroundings.
