Workshop (4hrs)
- Introduction for those who may be looking to develop their confidence in introducing exercise into their clinical setting.
- Also beneficial for those currently prescribing exercise, but would like to have a deeper understanding of exercise rehab and strength training from a clinical lens.
- Basic principles to get started with exercise prescription
- Region/movement patterns: symptom modifiers, regressions & progressions, movement optimisation and application of fundamental strength patterns.
- Movement patterns covered in this workshop include:
- Hip isolation
- Squat
- Pull
- Practical workshopping and troubleshooting + discussion
- Case studies integrating each movement pattern in typical clinical presentations that the myotherapist would encounter.

About your Presenters:
Yujin Lim is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and the director of Optimal Health Exercise Physiology located at The University of Melbourne and in the Melbourne CBD. He has had a wide range of industry experience across 10+ years including working in private practices, gyms, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, lecturing exercise rehabilitation at a tertiary level, delivering seminars to allied health practices, and providing commentaries for various national media outlets. Yujin is on a mission to empower people to live better lives through movement regardless of any injuries or medical conditions they may have. Yujin is an obsessive multi-discipline movement enthusiast, and a perennial learner.
Heath Williams is an accredited osteopath and director of Principle Four Osteopathy and Corporate Work Health Australia. Heath also teaches Exercise Rehabilitation into the osteopathy program at Victoria University and regularly hosts external PD workshops for allied health professionals. He has a wide range of experiences and regularly works with clients whose goals are to get out of pain, improve their function as well as performance goals. Heath has a thirst for knowledge and when he isn’t spending time with his family is either attending courses himself or training.

Refund requests 7 days or more prior to the event date will be honoured, less $30 administration fee. Stricty no refunds requested less than 7 days from the scheduled event date will be honoured.
