Peter Fitzpatrick AO, AM (Mil) JP, FSAE, GAICD - Managing Director , Crusader Management Group (MC)

Peter Fitzpatrick has made significant contributions in various sectors over the last 40 years. With a notable 20-year military career, including service with the Special Air Service Regiment and a rank of Lieutenant Colonel, he transitioned to influential roles in the legal and motor industries of Western Australia. His strategic advisory role to former Prime Minister John Howard in 1997 marked a shift to corporate leadership, where he has since chaired numerous boards and mentored CEOs.

Peter’s impact extends beyond business; he’s advocated for social change, addressing issues like youth at risk and mental health, and founded organisations like Youth Focus. His expertise in governance and leadership is shared through his work with the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Recognised for his service, he received the Officer of the Order of Australia in 2018 and was a Member of the Order of Australia in 1984.


Pia Andrews - Chief Data Officer, Data and Economic Analysis Centre (DEAC) at the Department of Home Affairs

Pia Andrews is a serial public sector transformer and reformer, usually working within the machine to drive adaptive policy management, policy infrastructure, participatory governance, high trust and legitimate systems and operating models (inc AI), citizen-centric design, service agility and real, pragmatic continuous innovation in the public sector and beyond. She is on a self mission to transform public sectors to be more humane, responsive and effective in the 21st century, at the speed of continuous change and urgency.


Dr Lisa Dethridge - Research Fellow & Industry Consultant, RMIT University

Dr. Lisa Dethridge is an RMIT Research fellow, currently training and evaluating large AI models for companies in Palo Alto, California. She has a long career working with emergent tech, ranging from aerospace to all things digital; Game Design, Film, TV, Radio and print. Her recent project with OpenAI and CSIRO was the design of an ethical chatbot "Amber."

Dethridge offers an outline of current thinking in the ethics and anthropology of AI. She discusses the kinds of knowledge and practice that might contribute to your use and understanding of genAI and how this may develop your design of data pathways and data narratives. To avoid an avalanche of compliance legislation, Artificial Intelligence may require ethical, multi-disciplinary research to boost critical thinking and integrity.


Joshua Morley - Global Head - AI, Data & Analytics, Akkodis

Joshua J. Morley, Global Head of AI at Akkodis, leads over 2,500 experts in transformative data and AI initiatives. A visionary in technological innovation and DEI advocacy, his work not only reshapes industries but also champions an inclusive future in tech.


Jason Pentony - Associate Vice President, Infosys

Jason is an Associate Vice President with Infosys, a global IT services and digital consulting firm. He has over 30 years of experience working with organisations to maximise their value from investments into digital technologies, having worked in Australia and internationally. Jason is an Industry Panel advisor to the UWA - Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering.
