Looking to sharpen your barista skills and learn to taste coffee like a pro? You’ve come to the right place. In this masterclass, we focus on all the fundamentals you need to make a delicious espresso at home.

We’ll begin with a little history of espresso and then we’ll dive straight into variables like dose, grind, temperature, tamping and channeling. We’ll teach you how to differentiate between over and under-extraction and will help you dial in your brewing parameters to help achieve the perfect extraction.

We’ll also provide you with practical takeaways that you can implement at home and will share our secrets to ensuring sweetness, acidity and balance in every cup. You’ll learn how to detect and evaluate differences in flavour and aroma, and will leave with a more refined coffee palate.

The session will be held at our brand-new coffee experience centre located in Zetland, Sydney and is suitable for everyone from curious newcomers to passionate home baristas.
