The headspace University Support Program welcomes you to join us for this important session on 'Equipping University Staff to Support International Student Wellbeing'. The University Support Program is funded by the Australian Government to provide mental health and suicide postvention guidance to all Australian universities and their staff at no cost. This workshop will:
- Increase confidence in recognising mental health difficulties in students and having conversations around support pathways
- Reflect on the potential impact of suicide exposure for international students
- Apply the guiding principles of postvention to the international student context
- Explore ways to support students both proactively, and after suicide exposure
Audience:
We welcome any staff member of any Australian university, regardless of your role.

This session will be delivered by a webinar online and will not be recorded.
