Epilepsy and Seizure Management (Midazolam)

Rocky Bay's Epilepsy and Seizure Management training is suitable for support workers and caregivers.

Rocky Bay's Epilepsy and Seizure Management Training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to recognise and support an individual experiencing a seizure, including providing first aid and administering emergency medication if needed.

This training is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals with epilepsy and promoting their participation in daily activities.

Key aspects of epilepsy and seizure management training:

• Understanding Epilepsy and Seizures: Training provides an understanding of epilepsy, including different seizure types, triggers, and the impact of epilepsy on individuals.

• Seizure Recognition and First Aid: Participants learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of various seizures and how to provide appropriate first aid.
• Emergency Medication Administration: Training covers the administration of emergency medications, such as midazolam, in accordance with a seizure management plan and emergency medication plan.

Refund Policy

Cancellation: More than 2 working days before scheduled start time - Full refund (less $10.00 admin processing fee). Less than 2 working days before scheduled start time and Non-attendance - no refund

Reschedule Fees Public Courses: More than 2 working days before scheduled start time - Free reschedule.

Participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, late entry will not be permitted, no refunds issued.

Free parking is available on site. Please report to Reception.
