About this event

  • 2 hours

Research can be unpredictable, and it is not always clear at the beginning of a three- to four-year project what will happen by the end. Even very well-planned projects can face challenges when things don’t work. This workshop aims to provide supervisors with some strategies for problem solving and managing candidature as the end of the project nears. It describes the various parts of the research environment that can contribute to problem solving, and explores how to make the most effective use out of processes, policies and other resources that can assist in timely completion. It has a particular focus on the topic of examiner selection.
