Engineering Girls Day Out is a one-day mini-conference for female students in Years 9 - 12 to explore the different engineering disciplines, meet like-minded friends, and be inspired by female role models in the industry!

FAQs

How much does it cost to attend?

Engineering Girls Day Out is FREE to attend! You just need to organise your own transport to and from UNSW on the day.

Will lunch be provided?

Yes – morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided throughout the day, along with water and juice.

Who can attend?

Female high school students in years 9, 10, 11, or 12.

Do I need to bring anything on the day?

If you have any medications or accessibility equipment you require for the day, please bring along. Otherwise, just bring yourself! We will provide food and drinks, notebooks, pens and anything else you need for activities on the day.

What should I wear?

Something comfortable is the main tip! We suggest tshirt + jeans/shorts or the like. Make sure you wear enclosed shoes (sneakers are best) for any lab tours and activities you may partake in.
