End of Year Special Edition: Hike the Yarra !

This special edition features a longer circuit, blending the highlights of our two regular routes into one exciting morning hike!

We’re excited to announce our yearly Hike the Yarra Special Xmas edition, Saturday, 20st December, to bring our Urban Hiking Club community together for the holidays. This is more than a hike, it's a celebration of the season, connection, and the beauty of Melbourne's trails.

For this special Xmas edition, we’re walking a longer circuit that blends the highlights of our two regular routes into one seamless adventure. You’ll get to explore the best of Yarra Bend Park’s urban trails and natural beauty, with new paths and hidden gems to discover. 🌿✨

The hike will conclude with an nice lunch at Fairfield Boathouse along the Birrarung, offering the perfect opportunity to relax, connect with fellow hikers, and enjoy the festive spirit. 🍴🎅

Please note that lunch is optional and at your own expense!

Whether you're hike regularaly with the club or just starting, this is a perfect opportunity to connect with others and enjoy the natural beauty hidden within the city. Come along, bring your friends, family, or furry companions, and discover the joy of urban hiking with Urban Hiking Club.

👟 What to Bring: YOUR BEST XMAS OUTFIT!! and of course, sturdy sneakers, water, sunscreen, hat, rain jacket (we never know!) and festive cheer!

*Please note* This is a free-led event and we only charge a small participation fee to cover admin/insurance cost. However any donations on the day to support the club and my new startup will be gratefully appreciated!
