About The Emergency Medicine FoundationEMFa non-profit organisation dedicated to funding innovative evidence-based research that improves clinical practices to save lives as well as delivering significant economic benefits to the healthcare system.Through its Queensland Research program, EMF aims to support high quality research directed at improving the care of patients in emergency departments by awarding grants and scholarships to support research relating to the practice of emergency medicine. The Foundation is also committed to developing emergency medicine research capacity in Queensland, a research culture throughout the State’s public hospital emergency departments as well as translating research outcomes into clinical practice.EMF acknowledges the support and funding of the Queensland Government through Queensland Health.
