Do I need to bring anything?

What happens if I become overwhelmed?

Being overwhelmed is normal, and the bilateral stimulation that we will be using will likely help you process some of the distress. We will have some volunteers on hand in case you do feel that you are overwhelmed.

I don't feel comfortable sharing my experience, is this right for me?

Yes. This is a silent, guided approach. There is no expectation to speak, share, write, or discuss personal experiences. The process is internal, completed at your own pace, and you remain in control throughout the session.

Who is this session designed for?

This session is suitable for adults and young people aged 16 years and over. It is intended for anyone who is feeling emotionally, mentally, or physically impacted. No previous therapy experience is required. This is not group therapy, and personal experiences are not shared.

Question 5

Who will be facilitating the session?

The session will be facilitated by experienced, registered psychologists who are trained in trauma-response group interventions and are volunteering their time. Additional psychologists will be on site to provide support if required.

What if I decide not to attend?

Capacity is limited, so please only register if you intend to attend. If you are no longer able to attend, we ask that you cancel your ticket as soon as possible so the place can be offered to someone else.
