This immersive experience invites you to join Dr Catherine and Amy for Manava's very first Elemental Day Retreat at The Soul Connect Maleny. Perfectly designed to create a wellbeing reset for body and mind amidst the last hot humid days of late summer.

Enjoy group esoteric acupuncture, simple breathwork, myofascial stretches with self-applied acupressure, guided energetic meditation, classical chinese medicine wisdom talk and guided elemental intention ritual with deep rest.

About your Retreat Host & Facilitators

Dr Catherine Varley, Classical Chinese Medicine + Co-Host

Catherine is passionate about working with Acupuncture and Classical Chinese Medicine to assist you to feel better and improve your health and wellbeing. She initially studied at Endeavour College of Natural Medicine and then completed an internship in Guangxi University, China. After graduating Catherine worked in Brisbane’s foremost Natural Fertility Clinic, Conceive – Natural Health and Fertility.

In September 2019 Catherine relocated to the Sunshine Coast to be closer to her family and established Caloundra Acupuncture. She has never been happier and loves the beauty and lifestyle the coast has to offer.

A master practitioner with 30+ years in practice, Catherine is a nationally qualified Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (AHPRA). She is also a member of the Australia Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association.


Amy Livingstone RYT, CranioSacral Therapist + Co-Host

Amy creates and facilitates experiences to support an optimal state of wellbeing within the pace of modern life. A personal battle with Lymes Disease ignited her passion to enable positive change through combining therapeutic treatment and education for ideal outcomes.

With a background in trauma informed care and mental wellbeing, Amy supports clients of all ages in chronic illness recovery, injury rehabilitation and performance health. She has a deep interest in regenerative health and neuroscience and has trained with global leaders in yoga and NSDR therapy, energy medicine, myofascial release and sound therapy.

Amy is a Master Facilitator, Senior Registered Yoga Teacher (700 hours of training), Certified HeartMath Coach, Registered Sound Therapist, Myofascial Release Practitioner and currently studying CranioSacral Therapy with the internationally renowned Upledger Institute.

A Member of Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance International, Bx Business Networking Sunshine Coast and the Institute of Community Directors Australia, she gives back through mentoring local community organisations.
