Join Brisbane-based Japanese designer Mabina Alaka to learn how to make a 3D rose and other paper-folding techniques using secondhand books. These can be used in greeting cards, home décor, for wedding decorations and as unique accessories. With so many pretty papers and so much great graphic design out there this is a good way to upcycle used papers into something you can treasure.
Rescued Paper Rose is part of the ELEMENTAL BRISBANE master-class series: Reverse Garbage Queensland in partnership with local artisans will highlight the many ways we can repurpose items considered to be destined for landfill.
The workshop cost includes materials, facilitator, tea and coffee and light refreshments. Suitable for ages 13 and up.
Please note workshop fees are non-refundable.
