Learn to safely build and repair electronic projects using a soldering iron and test equipment.

Innovation Lab, The Edge

Solder on! Discover how to safely build and repair electronics using soldering tools and test equipment in this hands-on induction. Our electronics workbench is fully equipped with the tools you need to build, modify, troubleshoot, and repair your electronic projects. During induction, you will learn how to use the equipment safely and effectively. You can even take home a project kit, available for an additional $25 to cover the cost of materials. After induction, you will be set to book time at The Edge’s electronics benches during <a href="https://www.slq.qld.gov.au/visit/spaces/edge/open-lab" title="https://www.slq.qld.gov.au/visit/spaces/edge/open-lab" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Lab</a> to continue working on your projects.

<h3>REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS INDUCTION</h3><ul><li>Participants must be over 16 years of age.</li></ul><ul><li>Enclosed, flat footwear must be worn at all times in the Innovation lab.</li></ul>
