MakerSpace Coding & Robotics Education PD Engagement & Outreach- Scratch Coding-Arduino Robotics - 3D PrintingI'm an educator, trainer, engagement & outreach project provider. Educational robotics, coding and 3D printing is my speciality with a focus on entry level training and resources for Primary and Middle School and Libraries. This year I'm full-time self employed but for the last 10 years I was a High School Educator where I developed and delivered a highly successful High School STEM program focussing on design engineering and advanced manufacturing including 3D printing, laser CNC milling, electronics and microcontroller based automation and robotics. Previous to the last 12 years as a High School Teacher, I spent a decade providing technical laboratory support to both University research and teaching laboratories. Initially I trained as a laboratory analyst in the ‘80s and later gained a first class honours degree in Science and also completed a postgraduate degree in Education. STEM outreach has been a strong focus my professional work including delivering regional robotics training and mentoring to Primary teachers and their students both as teacher PD workshops and after school regional robotics student training. I also organise the Technology Challenge Maryborough Robotics Competition each year in September. Definitely a tinkerer of techno widgets who brings a background in applied science into the classroom as invigorated student centred problem based learning focused on practical real world STEM projects. I also design and manufacture STEM educational kits, educational robotics and 3D Printers.

3D Modelling: Create a virtual 3D model with an agricultural theme using TinkerCAD (or similar)- two categories: Beginner & Advancing Modeller.

Entry level challenge suitable for beginners from Primary and Middle School (ages 7-15) (except Advancing Modeller)
