STEP Victoria invites you to register for the next seminar in the series to help you provide more effective advice to Private Clients and Business Families.
The sessions are facilitated by Jon Kenfield, Master Solutionist, chartered accountant Advanced Mediator, Grade 1 Arbitrator, and a reputation as one of Australia’s most effective Family Business Advisers.

Your thinking will be challenged by this series of Zoom sessions.
They will NOT address any legal, financial or accounting topics from a technical perspective; they WILL address macro advisory issues relevant to, and fiercely practical for, most existing and future clients.
Papers will be provided in advance, along with PowerPoint slides.
Discussion is encouraged as we explore innovative/unfamiliar advisory concepts and territory.

How it will work:
This is an online series delivered via zoom. Delegates will be provided with instructions with how to join each session 1 hour before the commencement time. Each session is 60 minutes.
All sessions will be recorded and shared with delegates to view for a limited time.
Effective Advisory for Business Families across Generations, an educational series of seminars hosted by STEP Victoria and facilitated by Jon Kenfield LLB CA FRI FFBI – CEO The Solutionist Group; Founder of Family Business Institute (Australia New Zealand), and author of The Solutionist Guide to Family Business.
Jon is a Master Solutionist.
He advises Business Families, and resolves commercial, organisational, and relationship disputes.
He snagged a law degree sometime back in the steam age, and has been a chartered accountant for around 40 years, including stints as Principal/Director of Forensic Accounting in two of the “Big 4” firms. Combining this with extensive dispute resolution experience over the last 35 (concurrent) years results in an Advanced Mediator, Grade 1 Arbitrator, and a reputation as one of Australia’s most effective Family Business Advisers.
His work with business families usually starts by resolving paralysing conflict, and other blockers, before progressing to the planning and implementation of Holistic Professionalisation (best practice) Programs.
Many years spent resolving a huge range of disputes inspired Jon to develop new, fiercely practical processes for the non-destructive resolution of all types of family business conflict, especially: lack of family alignment; succession and probate disputes.
His book, “The Solutionist Guide to Family Business”, is Australia’s definitive “how to” text for advisers working with business families to achieve sustainable peace and prosperity.
Jon founded the Family Business Institute in 2016 to train and accredit professional advisers with serious interests in working with business families, across multiple generations.

Can I pay via EFT or cheque?
Unfortunately, no, STEP Victoria is only able to receive credit card payments through the EventBrite system. EventBrite will send you a receipt and ticket when you register. Please consider this your invoice.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Unfortunately your ticket cannot be transferred to another person.
Will the materials be sent around in advance?
Yes, materials will be circulated prior to the seminar.
