Description

The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) invites you to join us at the EEAA 2020 International Women’s Day Breakfast on Thursday, 5 March 2020.

This is always a very special event at which we honour the women of our industry by talking about the important issues that matter to them. The breakfast is open to everyone in our industry – women and men - so come and honour your outstanding colleagues on the United Nation's global day dedicated to women.

This year, the theme for International Women's Day is #EachforEqual, its core message is: An equal world is an enabled world. The EEAA will be celebrating the important contribution women of all ages make to business events – a sector that employs many women.

Over breakfast, we will bring together a panel of motivating women from our industry, along with a truly inspirational guest speaker, Daz Chandler. Ms Chandler is an award-winning interdisciplinary storyteller, creating work that traverses words, performance, video, film, events and online.

Joining Daz on the panel are:

Erica Blythe, Director of Finance and Administration at ICC Sydney, is a qualified FCPA and GAICD. She has consistently delivered strong financial results throughout her career with some of Sydney’s most prominent hotels. Erica is a celebrated spokesperson within the accounting industry and has also contributed to many research pieces including EEAA’s ‘A Career for Life 2019’ and Business Chicks’ ‘Women in Leadership Report’.

Christine Kotsis, Senior Business Development Manager, Harry the hirer, is a well respected sales and business development professional with over 14 years experience in the industry. She has worked with countless professional conference and exhibition organisers, corporate, government, associations, marketing and public relations agencies showing her ability to liaise with a diverse range of clientele.

Natalie Yan-Chatonsky, Founder & CEO of Full Time Lives. Full Time Lives helps people positively and meaningfully embark on the next chapter following mid-life career and lifestyle changes. They design and deliver in-person workshops, retreats and online programs to guide people through the steps for a purposeful and fulfilled life.

The breakfast will open with a welcome from the Chief Executive Officer of Doltone House, Anna Cesarano. Leading the panel discussion will be our EEAA Chief Executive, Claudia Sagripanti.

The Association proudly supports UN Women and Fitted for Work.

To support Fitted for Work, please bring along donations of good quality corporate clothing, shoes and accessories to help women experiencing disadvantage return to the workforce.
