Description

EDUCATIONAL SERIES 2019

Transitioning from a retirement village arrangement into residential aged care

Being prepared for care needs later in life or in case of an emergency will take away any surprises, ensuring you get the best possible outcome should you require 24-hour care and accommodation in residential care.
The extent to which the government subsidises aged care services and the mix between public funding and consumer payments differs. For residential aged care, funding arrangements are complex.
This educational seminar will take you through the contractual and financial considerations of transitioning from a retirement village arrangement into permanent residential aged care.

• Nicole Lawder MLA, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Member for Brindabella

Expert Panel:
• Alistair Christie, ACT Retirement Village Association
• Trish Low, COTA ACT
• Craig Phillips, Phillips Wealth Partners
