Rethink Weeds with Diego Bonetto – A Foraging Adventure!
You’ll never look at weeds the same way again after this fascinating workshop with Diego Bonetto — weed forager, artist, storyteller, and expert in the edible and medicinal plants growing right under our feet.

Join Diego for a guided walk and discover the nutritious, healing, and surprising world of plants most people overlook. Learn how weeds repair and enrich soil, and how they’ve been used for food, craft, and natural remedies for generations.

You’ll also find out how to safely harvest from the urban wild and bring extra vitamins and minerals into your diet — straight from nature’s pantry!

Each participant will receive a booklet featuring 16 of Sydney’s most common wild edibles, and you’re welcome to bring one or two samples of weedy plants from your own garden for possible identification on the day.
