About this event
This workshop series is run by James Barclay, an approachable horticulturist and presenter, James is often found munching on fresh edible growth within the gardens he tends. Qualified in horticulture from the University of Melbourne (Burnley), James is an enthusiastic advocate for engaging the public in sustainable horticultural practice.
Are you working with limited space? Do you want your fruit trees to have that extra bit of style? Whatever your vibe, we have the espalier tutorial for you! Using the Dunston Reserve Food Forest in Brunswick West as a hands-on demonstration site, James will provide a step-by-step guide to espalier practice.
No experience is necessary and this free My Smart Garden workshop is proudly presented by the City of Moreland.
Please note that this is an event for City of Moreland / Melbourne gardeners only. If you live outside Melbourne, please contact your council to find out what free sustainable gardening events are available locally.
