Eden Farm Sunflower Festival (Saturday)
Event Information
About this event
Eden Farm Numurkah is again blooming with bright sunflowers – you can take your pick this weekend on Saturday 29 January from 8am to 3pm and Sunday 30 January from 8am-3pm 2022. No entry free.
Last year the Bakers opened the gates of their rural biodynamic farm, filled with thousands of bright yellow sunflowers standing to attention. This year they're back!
Look for the sunflower hay sculpture out front at 1205 Walshs’ Bridge Road, Numurkah – that's where you’ll find the sunflowers this weekend. You can wander the field in your own time, hand-pick as many sunflowers as you like (at $3 each), get some selfies in the field or in the photo booth, sip a cuppa and watch the pretty sunny flowers dance in the breeze . There's even face painting for the kids. No entry fee or booking is required! Just rock up. BYO secateurs and wear gumboots if you want to explore the crop – it’s a little damp after a recent watering.
Dogs are allowed on a lead as there are cows, calves and other animals nearby.
Use hashtag #edenfarmsunflowers on to go into the draw to win a photoshoot in the sunflowers to the value of $500.
We have sunflower hay art, face painting for the kids, a coffee van, photo booth and much more!
So dress up for a beautiful day out.
We hope to see you!
