ECU Writers – A Celebration
Edith Cowan University’s School of Arts and Humanities will host a special free event to celebrate fiction and poetry by four recent graduates, published by four different publishers. Please join ECU’s writing staff and students for afternoon tea, followed by a panel discussion about writing and publishing.

ECU was one of the first universities in Australia to offer Masters and Doctoral studies in Writing, and many of its graduates have gone on to establish successful careers and to publish fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
One of the first graduates from the program, Danielle Woods, won the Australian/Vogel’s Literary Award with her novel The Alphabet of Light and Dark. Other graduates from ECU’s program include Robyn Mundy, Annabel Smith, Lynne Leonhardt, Melinda Tognini, Nandi Chinna, Andrew Burke, Meira Chand, Louise Helfgott, Simone Lazaroo, Amanda Curtin and John Kinsella.
