Join us for a tour of East Brisbane State School as part of the school's 125th anniversary fun fair! Ring the tower bell on our Historical Walking Tour, discover the stories behind the walls of our buildings and learn about the important role our school has played in the community over the years. These tours are a fantastic opportunity to explore the rich history of our school. Also available on the day are high tea, performances, live music, rides, merchandise stall, tours, food trucks, bar and stalls.

We will be running two tour types:
1. Historical Walking Tour* - main courtyard
2. ICT Technology Tour - EBSS library

Duration for all tours: 30 minutes

*Please note that the Historical Walking Tour requires the climbing of steps. If you have mobility issues, please book the ICT Technology Tour - it'll be great!

Frequently asked questions

Where can I meet my guides?

Historical Walking Tours will start from the main courtyard in front of the bell tower steps. The ICT Technology Tour will start at the EBSS library.

Are the tours free?

Yes - all tours are free and available for visitors old and new to enjoy.

Will there be parking?

There will be no parking available onsite - we encourage the use of public transport and/or active transport. For those who are driving, parking may be available in neighbouring streets. If you have mobility issues and need accessible parking, please get in touch with our office on (07) 3823 0444.

I have mobility issues. Can I still do a tour?

Yes - we recommend the ICT technology tour in the school library for visitors with mobility issues. Please note that the historical walking tour will require the climbing of steps and may therefore be unsuitable for some.

Will there be food?

Yes - we will be holding a high tea in the historic school hall and other food options will be available on the day.

What will there be at the EBSS 125 Year Fun Fair?

There will be high tea, performances, live music, rides, a merchandise stall, tours, a sausage sizzle, food trucks, a bar and class stalls. A fun day for all!
