Event description

Description

Earth Resources Regulation, in collaboration with the EPA, WorkSafe Victoria, DELWP and other government agencies, is running a series of Earth Resources Industry - Regional Information Exchange sessions across Victoria during August 2018.

The informal drop-in sessions will enable government agencies to communicate changes being made to the regulatory environment, as well as providing you with an opportunity to ask any questions of government regulators.

The Victorian Government is delivering a modern, proportionate and robust regulatory system in the earth resources sector – one that meets community expectations and supports the government’s objectives to meet the state’s future construction needs, generate investment and jobs, and build community understanding and support, while protecting the environment.

With significant changes being made to the regulatory environment, the government agencies responsible for regulating the resources and extractives industry want to engage broadly with industry to ensure that companies are well positioned to plan their businesses.
