Event
The location of the field day is in Romsey. The focus of this farm walk will be on the practical things you can do to maintain/encourage/attract dung beetles to your property.
Dung Beetles provided a fantastic role in improving soil health and carbon storage on farm.
The session will include a light meal, a paddock walk and discussion. Once registered, the property address will be sent to you prior to the event.
Everyone is welcome to come along and learn from each other and discuss how your property is progressing thru the season. Topics covered at past events have varied from fencing techniques and equipment, tree planting, water infrastructure, animal and breeding choices, weed management and the list continues.
Light meal is included.
Be aware that part of the event is outside, so make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and a minor level of fitness and mobility is required.
