About this event

In this 1 day workshop, you will learn how to prepare and card wool, begin drop spinning with a leader, spin singles and ply yarn. Ronelle will teach you about the different types of drop spindles and beginner fibres. By the end of the day, you will have produced a small skein of yarn that you can take home with you.

Age: TEEN 13-17 and ADULT 18+

Skill Level: NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Inclusions: All materials included.

What to Bring: Snacks, Lunch, Water, Notepad and an apron or tea towel to place on lap for spinning fleece

Clothing Guidelines: Casual and comfortable clothing with closed toed shoes
