Overview

Join us for four relaxed Sundays in February and March as we explore the fundamentals of still life painting.

Drawn Together introduces a 4 part painting series for those who want to dive deeper into their creativity in 2026. You will learn the fundamentals of still life drawing, colour mixing, different styles and techniques and come home with a finished still life painting. At Drawn Together, we create interesting still life set ups, which aim to expand our creativity.

Who is it for?

This workshop will be aimed at total beginners to intermediate painters. It will be an opportunity to hone your skills and dedicate some time to creativity! It will be a relaxed, fun environment with a maximum of 16 people.

What is it?

A 4-part acrylic painting workshop guided by two experienced and friendly Art educators Caz and Caity.

Week 1 + 2:
Skill-building, experimenting with painting techniques, investigating styles and practicing sketching still life compositions.

Week 3 + 4:
Developing a personal style and completing a finished artwork inspired by a still life arrangement.

Each workshop builds on the next and runs for 2-hours.

When:
Sunday afternoons throughout Feburary and March 2026
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Dates: February 22, March 01, March 15, March 22

We will be skipping the long weekend in March, to make it easier for your planning.

What you need to bring?

We will supply the art materials, however you will need to purchase your own canvas of choice for the final painting, we recommend no bigger than A3 size.

Photos & Videos:
We may take a few photos /videos during the workshop to capture the creative energy and use to promote future events. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let us know on the day — totally fine.
