About this event

These workshops are designed for the beginners and for those already confident in their skills. Please join us for these inspiring morning workshops full of art, shared passions and coffee! Classes can be enjoyed individually but they are best experienced as a series in which you can build up your skills.

Each session will explore different techniques and aspects of drawing, collage and painting. There will be opportunities to draw from life models (clothed).

The workshops take place in the Duldig Studio Gallery where participants can gain inspiration from the latest exhibition Drawn from the Collection:Highlights and Hidden Gems showcasing the diversity of art forms, style, materials, processes and techniques explored by Karl & Slawa Horowitz-Duldig throughout their successful artistic careers from the 1920’s – 1970’s.

At the first session there will be an opportunity to tour The Duldig Studio museum and sculpture garden - the former home and studio of renowned sculptor Karl Duldig and inventor and artist Slawa Horowitz-Duldig.

Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

Please bring:

Hard back A4 or A3 sketch pad suitable for pencil work and charcoal, kneadable eraser, 2B, 4B and 6B pencil

In addition, feel free to bring whatever materials you are comfortable with as we will be exploring a number of mediums and will receive guidance on what to use.

In the first session you will be also be guided round the Studio's heritage room and studio for some creative inspiration before enjoying a cup of tea.
