Overview

Join Louise for a lesson on botanical drawing, discovering the intricacies of drawing what you see.

Join Louise (botanical artist) for a lesson in drawing on nature, discovering the intricacies of drawing what you see - like a seed pod, leaf, seashell or a butterfly. Learn how to add tone and hints of colour to your drawing using simple art materials.

Louise has a relaxed teaching style and will demonstrate some easy drawing techniques for you to try. We will be working with graphite and coloured pencils on drawing paper, all of which will be supplied. You can also bring your own pencils if you wish.

A selection of natural materials will be available for inspiration on the day.
