Overview

A weekend to remember with one of the leading scientific minds in the dog behaviour space. Don't miss out on this amazing event

Dr Melanie Uhde downunder

Dr Melanie Uhde is a scientist and educator focused on translating neuroscience and biology into practical dog-training outcomes.

She holds a PhD (Natural Sciences) from the Bernhard-Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (Hamburg, Germany), completed postdoctoral research at Columbia University (New York) on gut–immune–brain interactions, and has authored peer-reviewed papers in journals such as Brain, Behavior & Immunity and Psychiatry Research.

We are hosting Dr Melanie Uhde for her first official Australian seminars and I could not be more excited to bring her here for our community of trainers and behaviourists.

Melanie is the founder of Canine Decoded, where she teaches evidence-led frameworks around learning, arousal, resilience, and the biological drivers of behaviour (including nutrition, sleep and exercise). She regularly speaks on applying neuroscience to real-world training and has been featured on specialist dog-training podcasts and industry events.

Expect two full days of evidence-led content and practical application, with just enough myth-busting to keep everyone honest. Bring your curiosity, your sharpest pencils, and your best poker face for when Melanie confirms that thing you have been saying for years.

Who is it for?
Working trainers, behaviour consultants, serious students of the craft, and anyone who thinks PubMed is light reading.
