Dots+Loops

The avant-house party of your dreams, join Shugorei, Throat Pleats, Provocative Vibrations and Airport on a dive into gleeful musical mayhem

Upstairs at Newstead Brewing Co. Milton

Vibrations is the weird avant-house party of your dreams, a vivacious celebration of noise and rhythm. Brisbane duo Provocative Vibrations kick things off, blurring the boundaries between percussion, movement and mime. Sydney duo Throat Pleats take us all the way down the rabbit hole, past any concept of irony, and headlong into gleeful musical mayhem. Hybrid electro-percussive duo Shugorei channel the party’s energy to a glitchy peak, merging virtuosic live percussion with more synths than you can poke a (drum) stick at. And in true Dots+Loops style, Airport closes with a DJ set to keep the good vibes going into the night, with visuals by Kit Mason.

To make sure everyone can join in, ticket are Pay-What-You-Can-Afford, minimum $10.
