ARTsTNT (Tips & Tools) Professional development talk by Darren Jorgensen.

How to tell Bidydanga from Balgo. This talk tells the story of dot painting from its beginnings on the community of Papunya in the Northern Territory and maps its spread and influence across remote Australia. It also looks at how dot painting has influenced exhibitions and histories of art internationally, and how styles of painting differ in different places.

Venue: Located inside Wanneroo Library, upstairs in the Wanneroo Library & Cultural centre, 3 Rocca Way, Wanneroo.

Parking: Ample parking in the surrounding streets and in the Wanneroo Shopping Centre carpark.
