Disrupting Payments with Distributed Ledgers
A Masterclass with Stefan Thomas, CTO of Ripple

Time: 7:45am for an 8am sharp start
Location: Stone & Chalk, Level 2, 50 Bridge St, Sydney, 2000
Payments today are slow, uncertain and expensive, especially when money is sent across borders. Every transaction has many hidden costs from both banks and their customers. The world needs modern payments infrastructure, or an Internet of Value (IoV), to enable money to move as easily as information moves today.
Stone & Chalk, in partnership with Ripple, the leading San Francisco fintech startup, will present Stefan Thomas, CTO of Ripple. In this masterclass, Stefan will talk about recent technology developments in payments and upon Ripple's own product strategy and the work of the Web Payments Interest Group at W3C. Senior Engineer Evan Schwartz will present examples and demonstrations starting at the retail front end all the way to the bottom of the payments stack with interbank settlements.
With limited spots available, we expect tickets to be snatched up quickly. Make sure to be quick and reserve your seat here!
