Discovery Space: The nature collector
Mon to Thu 10–13 April and Tue to Fri 18–21 April
Two sessions daily: 10–11.30am and 11.30am–1 pm
Cost: $10 child, children on Friends full membership free
Start your journey to becoming a natural historian with a short guided tour of some of the National Museum’s unique nature collections, including 19th-century seaweed albums from Tasmania and Port Phillip. Then experiment with natural materials to make your own nature journal to use at home. You can also contribute to a collaborative artwork created by the Museum's artists, Julie Ryder and Mary Kayser.
