Have you always wanted to explore your family history but felt overwhelmed or unsure where to begin? Are you a seasoned family historian who needs a refresher? These three hands on workshop sessions go through the basic steps to help you discover your family’s story. You’ll learn how to find reliable information, organise what you discover and begin connecting with the stories and people in your family’s past.

Not a beginner? You’re still very welcome. These sessions are also a great way to refresh your skills, get support, or make use of the resources provided.

• Everyone must book so we can prepare enough resources and as you will be sent instructions on what to bring with you
• One booking covers all three sessions.
